THANK YOU to Mayor David Morse and the Westbrook City Council for supporting our teenagers through a partnership with METRO that will provide bus passes to all high school students. The City Council approved Mayor Morse's proposal on first reading and will consider it in a second reading on August 3. This will be a true game changer that helps students who live within the school transportation boundary and have to walk up to 1.5 miles to school every day. It also opens up transportation for them to get to part time jobs, practices, and rehearsals, and to be connected to Greater Portland.
