Click here to read about Mary Emerson, the school nutrition director for the Westbrook School Department, in the Westbrook High School cafeteria . Emerson launched a program to start offering more, “culturally appropriate,” meals to immigrant students Westbrook. They developed recipes from places such as Africa and the Middle East and training their cooks to make them.

Substitute

The Westbrook School Department is continually looking for qualified substitutes for teaching, custodial work, cafeteria help and student transportation.  

K-12 teachers in all grade levels, content areas, and departments - Minimum experience is 2 years of college or comparable experience.
 
Substitute Support Staff including Ed Techs, transportation personnel,  custodians, food service, and nurses.
