One of the best parts of working at WRVC is seeing our graduates come back to share what they’re doing next. From healthcare and public safety to the skilled trades, our alumni continue to put their WRVC experience to work in their communities and beyond!
Eliakim “E” Tshasuma | Medical Occupations, 2026
We recently ran into Eliakim “E” Tshasuma, a 2026 graduate of our Medical Occupations program, who is now working full-time at Casa, Inc. in Scarborough. E and several of his former classmates completed their CNA clinical hours at Casa while at WRVC.
E loves his work at Casa and is also continuing his education at Southern Maine Community College full-time, where he is studying Health Science. We’re proud to see E building on the skills and experience he gained at WRVC as he pursues his future in healthcare to be a nurse!
Tyler Granata | Firefighting & EMT, 2025
Tyler Granata, a 2025 graduate of our Firefighting & EMT program, recently stopped by WRVC to visit his mentor, Lt. Brooks, and say hello to the WRVC staff.
Tyler was recently featured in another “Where Are They Now?” story highlighting his dedication to the firefighting profession.
During this visit, Tyler also ran into Mr. Shawn Moody of Moody’s Collision Center, who was visiting our Criminal Justice program. Tyler was a recipient of a Blue Collar Scholarship sponsored by Mr. Moody and his wife. Tyler used his scholarship to start his HVAC company called Granata's HVAC! It was a fun WRVC reunion and another reminder that the connections our students make here often continue long after graduation.
Eliza Hill & Sydney Pearson | Medical Occupations, 2025
It’s always special when former students return to visit the teachers who helped launch them toward their future!
Eliza Hill and Sydney Pearson, 2025 graduates of our Medical Occupations program, recently stopped by to visit Ms. Lewis and Ms. Sherburne. Both are now attending the University of Southern Maine’s Nursing program while working as Medical-Surgical Technicians at Maine Medical Center using their CNA licenses.
Eliza and Sydney shared that their two years at WRVC prepared them incredibly well for their college coursework, especially for the Anatomy & Physiology w/lab course. They felt confident and well-prepared going into their nursing program due to the strong foundation they received at WRVC.
And there’s even more to celebrate: both are on the Dean’s List! We couldn’t be prouder of these future nurses!
