At this month's Regional Advisory Committee meeting, three Tech II Electricity seniors... Griffin (Bonny Eagle HS), Hanna (Gorham HS), and Jacoby (Westbrook HS) shared with the committee why learning their trade is so meaningful to them. They spoke about how grateful they were for the opportunities they have at WRVC. They highlighted how Career and Technical Education (CTE) allows them to apply what they learn in real-world settings, build industry-ready skills, and gain confidence through meaningful, project-based experiences. The students emphasized that CTE not only makes learning more engaging, but it also helps them explore career pathways early, earn valuable credentials, and graduate feeling prepared for both college and the workforce. They also highlighted the positive impact of Mr. Clark, celebrating his guidance and support. Several RAC members echoed their excitement, noting the outstanding learning taking place at WRVC. Yay to our students and staff!
We are also proud to announce that the electrical work done by the WRVC Electricity program has officially passed the City of Westbrook’s inspection at the Rotary House project. Both the Service Entrance and Rough-In phases received full approval! This milestone reflects the skill, professionalism, and dedication of our students and of Mr. Clark. Congratulations to everyone involved!
