Four proud alumni of Westbrook Regional Vocational Center’s Firefighting and EMT programs returned to campus last week, reconnecting with their beloved teacher, Lt. Brooks, and sharing their journeys with the current Firefighting Tech I students.
Emily, Molly, Noah, and Kelsey... graduates of WRVC's respected public safety programs, are each pursuing meaningful, service-driven careers, and their success is a testament to the foundation they built during their time at WRVC. Their visit was filled with gratitude, inspiration, and heartfelt appreciation for Lt. Brooks, whom they all credit for helping launch their careers.
Emily is currently serving in the National Guard and is pursuing a career in corrections.
Molly works in security at Maine Medical Center, helping to keep one of the state’s busiest hospitals safe.
Noah is proudly serving as a firefighter and EMT for the Town of Gorham.
Kelsey is continuing her education at York County Community College, where she is studying to become a veterinary technician.
During their visit, the alumni took time to support and guide WRVC’s newest firefighting students... sharing their experiences, offering advice, and reflecting on the life-changing skills and values they gained at WRVC.
We are so proud of these former students and grateful they came back to share their stories. Their paths may differ, but they all embody the dedication, compassion, and drive that WRVC strives to instill in every learner.
