Good Morning Congin Cougar Families,
Happy Wednesday! I hope you all have been able to get outside and enjoy this warm weather and sunshine!
We are coming up to April break, but we have a lot going on at Congin. Here are some updates for this week:
It is Wednesday, so that means it is an early release day! Students will be dismissed at 2:20 today.
Tonight is our UA Night from 5-6pm at Congin. Come enjoy our book fair, art show, and various activities relating to STEAM, Music, and PE! We hope to see you there.
Thursday is a half day for students! Students will be dismissed at 11:20. Please make sure that you know how your child is getting home. There will be no Westbrook Learns, however Westbrook Awesome will still be happening.
Friday there will be no school, and we will be on April break from April 20th-24th. Our office will also be closed. We will be back at school on April 27th.
This is your last opportunity to order a yearbook for this year! Here is the link to order yearbooks. If you would like to order a yearbook, you must have your orders in the by end of the day on Friday!
Last week, our School Committee approved our 26-27 School Calendar. I have attached it to this email for you to have. Additionally, all students, except for kindergarten, will be starting on August 31st. There will be no staggered start this year. Kindergarten's first day will be on Wednesday, September 2nd.
Our last day of school for this year was also approved by our School Committee. The last day of school will be on Wednesday, June 17th, and it will be a half day for students. Students will be dismissed at 11:20.
The Congin PTO is looking for plant donations for our Plant Sale! Plants can be donated and brought to Congin on May 15th, and our Plant Sale will be on May 16th from 10am-12pm. Please reach out to conginplantsale@gmail.com.
Hannaford Helps will be happening until May 30th! Make sure to choose Congin when you get school dollars at Hannaford with a QR code. If you don't have a way of scanning, send it to school with your child and we can do it at Congin!
