Good Morning Congin Cougar Families,
Happy Wednesday! I hope this email finds you well, especially after all of the snow from yesterday! Hopefully we are on our way to more Spring-like weather in the next few weeks.
We have a lot going on at Congin, so here are some updates for this week:
We are continuing our work with cooperation for this month! Students are earning cooperation bricks to build a cooperation wall in our school whenever they work cooperatively together.
Our 4th Grade College Knowledge Team will be competing with Saccarappa School and Canal School tomorrow at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center! Let's wish our Congin team good luck!
Parent Teacher Conferences are starting this week on Thursday. We will also have conferences next Tuesday and Thursday, so if you have not scheduled a conference, make sure to check in with your child's teacher.
There will be a Congin Happy Wheels Skate night on Saturday from 5-7pm. This is not a drop off event. Students must be supervised by an adult.
Congin will be having a UA Night next Wednesday, April 15th from 5-6pm. Come enjoy our art show, the book fair, and participate in activities relating to music, PE, and STEAM. We hope to see you there!
There will be a Cheer Clinic coming to Congin! I have attached a flyer if you are interested in having your child participate.
Hannaford Helps is currently underway! For every 4 qualifying items you buy, you will earn a school dollar printout! Use the QR code to redeem the school dollars and choose Congin School! I have attached a flyer with more information. If you do not have a way of scanning the QR code, have your child bring in the printout to the office, and we can enter it for you!
Bikes for Books continues to take place. For every 5 books or 100 pages read, students can fill out a sheet for a chance to win a bike. This will take place until May 8th.
There will be no school on Friday, April 17th, and we will be on April break from April 20th-24th, so there will be no school.
